Alexis utilizes her background in technology studies to solve challenging problems at the intersection of science and justice, and specializes in eDiscovery.

Alexis Caligiuri is a key associate in the eDiscovery, AI, and Information Governance practice. She has been the lead associate in eDiscovery matters ranging from complex litigations to investigations by the DOJ and FTC. In addition, Alexis has a background in science and technology, including patent and trade secret litigation experience in district court and before the International Trade Commission. Alexis has guided clients through using state-of-the-art machine learning technologies to improve client outcomes in the context of federal investigations and in private disputes. She also helps train the next generation of eDiscovery talent at Covington.

Prior to joining the firm, Alexis was a law clerk to the Honorable Jon P. McCalla, United States District Judge for the Western District of Tennessee
