Madeleine (Maddie) Dolan is a litigation associate in the Washington, DC office. She is a member of the Product Liability and Mass Torts litigation group.
Since joining Covington in September 2022, Maddie has first-chaired 5 depositions (offensive and defensive), second-chaired 18 depositions (offensive and defensive), argued multiple discovery matters in court, and been a core member of several trial teams—including teams that defended the first trial of personal injury claims against a baby food manufacturer related to trace heavy metals in baby food and the first trial of personal injury claims against a social media company related to teen mental health. Maddie also first-chaired at a pro bono trial, as a member of a team that secured their client’s acquittal on first-degree murder charges. In addition, Maddie has extensive experience working with scientific experts.
Prior to joining Covington, Maddie was a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Mark R. Hornak of the Western District of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, PA. She also previously worked as a consultant and strategic communications director, managing marketing campaigns for federal government agencies.
